Curing The Winter Lip Blues

This winter has been extraordinarily drying on my lips. I'm talking chapped and peeling ugliness. A couple of weeks ago I stopped by a Mary Kay party my friend  Meagan ( check her Mary Kay site HERE) was having and this Satin Lips set was one of the product we were able to test. I was amazed with the instant results I saw and knew it would be going home with me.

The mask works wonders on removing all the dead flaky skin. you simply rub it over your lip area and let it sit for a few minutes then gently remove (I usually use a damp cotton ball). The mask is white with a slight gritty texture and is easy to apply. As it dries on your lips it sort of gives a tightening feeling but nothing uncomfortable. It contains tiny beads that help to exfoliate the surface of your lips. I tend to use it a couple of times a week depending on how chapped they are feeling.

Second step is to apply the Satin Lips lip balm. The balm would make a great purchase on its own, keeping your lips soft and supple for hours. And that's it, two easy steps and I promise you will have fabulous looking lips again!  This set totally brought my lifeless lips back into pristine pouty condition.

What's your go to cure for dry cracked lips? I would love to hear about them in the comments!
