March Favorites
Well the end of March is here and we are already seeing weather in the mid 80's so that means this coming month will be a change in my make up products. I will start to weed out the hydrating, aluminizing products for more matte finishes as my skin really gets oily in the hot humid Houston weather. Keep reading to see what I loved in March!
Glamglow ThirstyMud - This makes a great night time moisturizer! A little bit goes a long way so even though this product is more on the expensive side I think it will last me for a while. I use it every other night in between using my Josie Maran Infinity cream. See my full review HERE.
It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush - I picked this up at the beginning of this month and have used it everyday since to apply my foundation. It works well with both my liquid foundations and my powder foundations. This buffs the product into the skin and gives a flawless finish. I highly recommend checking out It Cosmetics brushes they are incredibly soft and luxurious.
Bobbi Brown Nudes Basics - I pulled this pallet back out recently and have been enjoying the cooler toned browns in it. This is such a great pallet of staple eye shadows! Stila Kitten Eyeshadow - I use this daily for my inner corner highlight shade, it blends out like a dream. I love the brightness it brings to my eyes! It also makes a great brow bone highlight.
Loreal Eyebrow gel - I love how there are so many awesome drugstore eyebrow products available now! This is a eyebrow mascara that helps plump up your brow hairs with little fibers. I find it keeps my eyebrows in place all day with out that crunchy stiff feeling.
Hourglass Diffused Light Powder - A total dream product right here! I use this to set my under eye concealer and give a little lift to my cheekbone area! I'm not a huge highlight girl so this is the perfect powder for me.
Josie Maran Argan Oil - I occasionaly use this on my face but lately my favorite way to use this oil is in my hair. I noticed I was having issues with dandruff, likely a result of using drying products like dry shampoo so often. To help combat this and re-nurish my scalp I put a few drops of this through my hair once a week. Afterwards my hair feels silky smooth.
It Cosmetics Ombre Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi - With the weather warming up I have been craving a brighter pop of color on my cheeks and this one has been my favorite! You can choose the level of intensity by focusing on the light, medium, or dark shade or just mix it all together for the perfect pink shade!
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer - I have this in the shade light. I apply this quite liberally under my eye area in that upside triangle shape and find it really lifts and brightens the area. A great product at a great price. See my full review HERE.
Mary Kay Satin Lips - This is my holy grail lip conditioning product. This keeps my lips soft, supple and not chapped in the least bit!
