July Favorites
The month of July saw a few old favorites re-appear in my routine along with some new finds that I plan on keeping around for a while. Check out this months most used products below!
1. The Microdelivery Peel by Philosophy - My face has been acting up like a mad man this past month so I brought back out the heavy duty exfoliator. This is my go to product!
2. Korres Vitamin E Face Primer - Completely loving this primer, summer months mean beyond oily skin for me and this has been such a life saver! You can see an in-depth review HERE.
3. Velcro Rollers - It has literally been years since I have used Velcro rollers I just never think about using them! Then a couple weeks ago I was so tired of how flat my hair was looking and pulled these bad boys out and have loved the volume they have been giving my hair! You can purchase Velcro rollers at any drugstore/beauty store for a relatively small amount of coin. Such an affordable fix for those lack-luster locks!
4. Mask of Magnaminty by Lush - I snagged a few lush goodies back on my birthday this mask being one of them (see the full haul). OMG I am dying over this mask, its super minty and tingles on the skin and you really feel like it is getting deep into the pores. After rinsing the mask off your skin is left feeling incredibly refreshed and soft. This comes in two sizes; I opted for the smaller one and have used it a few times with still plenty left in the carton.
5. King of Skin by Lush – Hello Holy Grail item! I have such sensitive skin and almost all lotion products leave my legs looking red and irritated. Since finding this I no longer have irritation and my skin is left feeling supple and moisturized all day long. I like to use this in the shower right before I get out to dry off. I highly suggest trying this out even if you don’t have sensitive skin. I just ran out of this and need to re-purchase ASAP.
6. Spark *– I recently decided it was time to start focusing more on my health and losing a few lbs. I decided to do the 24day challenge from Advocare (I plan on doing an entire post on my experience). Part of the challenge includes Spark a powder drink mix that offers increased energy and mental focus. This stuff has replaced my morning and afternoon coffee and keeps me going all day long. I really love it. If you are interested in learning more you can check out my Advocare sight here.
7. Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Foundation - I picked up this foundation during my last beauty haul from Hautelook. I have been using this every day and love the application and long lasting wear. I want to do an updated foundation routine focusing on this beauty so keep an eye out for it!
8. Josie Maran Whipped Argon Oil – This was part of a gift set I was given way back for Christmas, I mentioned it in previous monthly favorites and recently started using it again. I really can’t say enough good things about the whipped Argon Oil; the texture is so smooth and light and leaves your skin feeling amazing.
