Lucky Charm
I was really excited for this months box, If you follow Boxycharm on instagram they release sneak peaks of the boxes contents and as soon as I saw there would be one of Tarte's LipSurgence I knew the box would be worth it. I cant say it enough if you like getting subscription beauty boxes this one is probably one of the best available!
Box Contents - This months box contained 4 full size products and 1 travel size.
- Travel Size $11
I actually already own the full size of this product and use it regularly. It's important to use a heat protectant spray when using tools like curling irons and straighteners. I really like this one as it protects up to 450 F and adds a little bit of shine to my hair as well. All you have to do is spray it on each section prior to using your heated tools.
This eyeliner claims to be water resistant and it's formulated with beeswax for smooth and soft application. My box came with the shade Black I know some of the boxes came with other colors but personally I can never have too many black eyeliners. From what I can tell this is actually a quite smudgy eyeliner and I don't see how it can be water resistant. I think this liner could be good for doing smokier looks that require the smudged eyeliner.
I'm always game for getting fun nail polish and this color is perfect for spring. I really like the packaging on this one, it looks high-end and is actually quite heavy glass. These polishes are 5 Free, Cruelty Free and Vegan. What interest me most is the promise of a gel like finish. I love the look of gel nails but lately haven't been wanting to deal with all the hassle. I have high hopes for this one and will have to do a nail of the day with it soon.
I own a few of these LipSurgence lip products and know how much I like the formulation so I was pretty excited about getting this one in my box and adding to my collection. These are lightweight and moustirizing on the lips. They give a mint tingly feel when you apply them but nothing crazy or over powering. The shade Charmed is a light pink and will work well for throwing on for a little extra color for my everyday look.
This is another new brand to me but I am always open to trying new skincare products! Formulated with Daisy flower extract and hyaluronic acid to lighten and brighten skin. I am always looking for products that promise brightening as I have a few spots of discoloration from breakouts. At first I thought this would be more of a serum type product but realized its more of a lightweight water tonic. Looking at the website this seems to be a new product for the brand and I think this will be good to use in the mornings before I do my make up. I will definitely keep you all posted on this one!
