The Houston Nutcracker Market

The holidays have always been a favorite time of year for me and last year my mom and I started the new tradition of going to the Nutcracker Market. The Houston Nutcracker Market benefits the Houston Ballet, a certain percentage of the vendors profits will go to the Houston Ballet. The event has been going on for almost 40 years! Up until last year we had never been and we had such a blast we knew it would be a new Christmas tradition. I thought I would share a few photos I snapped during this years market. Keep reading if you want to see more!

(I'm wearing this top and its on sale! and this affordable faux fur vest.)
There is such a wide range of vendors at the market you will be sure to find gifts for everyone on your list young and old!

We always start the shopping by getting a mimosa from one of the bars stationed through out the arena. This year your drink came in these cute commemorative hard plastic cups.

I love seeing all the Christmas booths, its the perfect way to get inspired when it comes time to decorate my house. I usually don't buy to much of the decorations from the market since they seem to be a bit marked up and I love crafting my own.

These spoons would be perfect for mixing up your coffee, tea or if you are like me hot chocolate! Adorable!

These cinnamon sticks were such a cute idea but I would never spend $20 bucks on it! Ill have to make a bundle of my own!

My favorite booth every year has to be the Paul Michael Company (check out the website too) . They have a ton of ribbon and essentials for creating your holiday décor along with huge pre-made wreaths. The best part is they have a whole home décor section with amazing furniture and bits and bobbles to put around the house. This store always gets most of the money I budget for the trip!

Wholly Amethysts!

What I would give for a piece like this! They always have some really beautiful ones with some being almost as tall as me! To die!

What are your holiday traditions!? I would love to hear them in the comments!
